Anatomy of Justice Forum

On Thursday, January 19, 2017 Cleveland Municipal Court Administrative and Presiding Judge, Ronald B. Adrine participated in a panel discussion titled "Anatomy of Justice: a Symposium of Criminal Justice Reform in Cuyahoga County" at the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

This was the first session of a four-part series organized by the CMBA and The City Club of Cleveland which is open to attorneys and community members and is intended to challenge perceptions and increase our understanding of the criminal justice system in Cuyahoga County.   Video re-enactments of common scenarios in the arrest and bail process were viewed, with the audience and panel weighing in on the outcome. Audience members participated through an interactive polling system.

Panelists included the Honorable John J. Russo, Presiding & Administrative Judge, Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas;  the Honorable K.J. Montgomery, Shaker Heights Municipal Court; Robert L. Tobik, Cuyahoga County Public Defender; Andrew J. Nichol, Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office; Kimberly Barnett Mills, City of Cleveland Prosecutor's Office; Russell S.
