Cleveland Municipal Court, MetroHealth Medical Center and
Moore Counseling Unite to Prevent Opiate Overdose

On Tuesday, August 19, 2014 Dr. Joan Papp from MetroHealth handed out the opiate antidote (Naloxone) to 30 clients of the Cleveland Municipal Courts’ Greater Cleveland Drug Court and its collaborative partners who are identified as possible high risk for opiate overdose.  Participants attended a brief educational session on Naloxone and how to use the kits and each was supplied with his or her own kit at the end of the brief training.
