The 2018 Greater Cleveland Bench-Bar Memorial Program was held at the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association on Monday, April 16, 2018 at noon. The Memorial Program is presented each year as a collaborative effort by the bench and local bars, including the Cleveland Metropolitan, Federal-Northern District, and Norman S. Minor Bar Associations.

A total of thirty-seven members of the legal community passed away last year including the following former Cleveland Municipal Court Judges: Jean Murrell Capers, William Corrigan, Raymond L. Pianka and Pauline H. Tarver.

Administrative and Presiding Judge Michelle D. Earley spoke on their behalf. In addition to Judge Earley, the Honorable Maureen O’Connor, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Ohio, and the following Cleveland Municipal Court Judges were in attendance: Judge Michael L. Nelson Sr., Judge Ann Clare Oakar and Judge Suzan M. Sweeney.
