Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Pinkey Carr delivered a unique sentence to a woman who was driving on the sidewalk to avoid stopping for a school bus.
Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Pinkey Carr delivered a unique sentence to a woman who was driving on the sidewalk to avoid stopping for a school bus. The Judge sentenced the woman to hold a sign for two day that reads "Only an idiot would drive on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus". Judge Carr also suspended the woman’s license for 6 months and she must pay a $250.00 fine.
This unique sentence made national news. Judge Carr said she was inspired by Painesville Municipal Judge Michael Cicconetti, who is known for giving creative sentences.
