(Cleveland, Ohio)—The Honorable Michelle D. Earley, Administrative and Presiding Judge on the Cleveland Municipal Court will begin serving a three-year term on the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations (CMBA) Board of Directors on July 1, 2024.

(Cleveland, Ohio) -- In the lead up to America’s 250th anniversary, the Cleveland Municipal Court announced today it received a Trillium Local Activity Grant from the America 250-Ohio Commission for its upcoming project titled, “Educating Youth About Ohio’s First Municipal Court.”

(Cleveland) –The 77th graduation ceremony of the Judge Larry A. Jones Drug Court, under the direction of Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Lauren C. Moore will take place not in a courtroom, but at Edgewater Beach on Monday, June 10, 2024 and for the fourth year in a row, the participants will be engaging in a half hour yoga session before graduating.

(Columbus) -- The Mental Health Specialized Docket of the Cleveland Municipal Court has earned final certification from the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Specialized Dockets. To receive the certification, a local court submits a detailed application, undergoes a visit and report on its practices, and provides specific program materials in response to certification standards that went into effect in January 2014.

Jones Drug Court on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 following a two hour ceremony and graduation at Cleveland City Council Chambers, the very place Judge Jones began his political career as a City Councilman in 1981.Judge Jones, who presided over Drug Court for 10 years, died suddenly at the age of 68 on October 7, 2021.

(Cleveland) – The 71st Graduation Ceremony of the Greater Cleveland Drug Court was a lot different last Monday. The ceremony took place at the Cleveland Aquarium and included graduates from the Cleveland Municipal Court’s Mental Health and Community Court Dockets, 16 graduates total.
